Using Brainfold
Terms of use
Effective October 17, 2026
The service
Brainfold provides browser tools and games for solving and playing logic puzzles. You can use the current tools without an account or payment. These terms explain the practical limits of the service alongside our privacy policy.
Understanding results
A Nonogram Solver result applies to the clues and cell states you supplied. A valid completed grid is not necessarily the puzzle creator's intended picture. Some clue sets have more than one solution; others are inconsistent. A search that reaches a resource limit does not prove that a puzzle is unsolvable.
Tools can contain errors. Check the input and review a result before relying on it. A game move count or completed solution does not establish that the route is the shortest possible route. Brainfold does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent browser storage, or completion of every puzzle search.
Your puzzles and shared links
You are responsible for the content you enter and share. Entering clues does not transfer ownership of a puzzle to Brainfold. Only share material you have permission to share, and do not put sensitive personal information in puzzle content or links. People who receive a share link can copy it and pass it on.
Published content and fair use of the site
Published puzzle collections and other materials may carry their own source or license notices. Their availability here does not grant permission to redistribute them under a different license. Do not interfere with the site's operation, try to bypass security controls, or use the site to distribute unlawful or abusive content.
If a puzzle source or permission needs correcting, please contact Brainfold with enough detail to identify the material and investigate your concern.

Nothing on this page is intended to remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived. Questions about using the service can be sent through the contact method listed on the Contact page.
